Trying to Create Zip Files in Dropbox

Hello,
I am trying to put some of my files in a zip folder. I don't know how dropbox helps with this.

  • Dropbox has no such function. If you want to Zip your files and store them in Dropbox, then you need to Zip them on your computer first, using your operating system or an appropriate application, and then store the resulting Zip file in your Dropbox. Dropbox cannot Zip the files for you.

Note that Dropbox can create Zip files of the folders in your account, but this is only during the download process (you can download a folder, so Dropbox Zips it first). Otherwise there is no option to have Dropbox Zip files within your account.
