"Upload from" option in Camera Uploads missing on Android
Hi, Me and my friend both run android with different phones (mine is google pixel and hers is huawei P10). But our dropbox app version is the exact same 310.2.2 on her phone in the camera uploads seetings she is missing the option that is called "upload from" on my phone where you can chose which folders to upload. So all her screenshots for example get uploaded too, but she doesnt want/need them uploaded. Why is the option missing? Is there anything we can do? Thanks
Hey chinchilla13, thanks for your patience while we looked into this internally.
I checked back with the team on this one and they've confirmed that the 'Upload From' feature requires Android 11.
I hope this helps and sorry for the tardy reply.

Hey chinchilla13, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community.
Would you mind sending us a couple of screenshots showing this discrepancy and the version of the Dropbox app for both devices?
Also, are you both on the same Android version? And is it the most recent one?
Thanks in advance!
- chinchilla13Explorer | Level 4Hi Hannah. I'm not sure how to upload screenshots here, I don't see the option to do so on mobile? I took two screenshots of the camera upload settings and I can describe the difference. Mine has a setting saying "upload from" and when I click on it I can chose the folders to upload from. On her phone that setting is just missing, it's not there. Everything else is the same. We run the exact same app version. But we do have different android versions as her phone doesn't support the most current android I assume.

Hey chinchilla13, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that I'm using the latest version of the Dropbox mobile app on my Android 10 device and the option to 'upload from' is there when I try to turn on the camera uploads feature.
Could you send us a screenshot of the options your friends see in the mobile app on their device?
You should be able to attach a screenshot in your reply via the camera icon (insert photo option) in your reply box.
If you're on a mobile device and not seeing it, you may need to request the desktop version of the website.
