Thanks for clarifying that for us Lindanew
Can you please send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your computer so that we can have a visual too? Since you've not backed up any files or folders to Dropbox, I'm not quite sure about the issue you're facing, that's why I'm asking.

Hi Walter, Thank you for reaching out. I don't know how to do a screen shot on the computer. I opened the list that shows all the different items on my computer, under categories like Quick Access, One Drive, Dropbox, This is what the address says at the top of the list . C:\Users\gljcm\Dropbox\Documents\Alan June 22\ALAN\Documents\BOB'S 70th BIRTHDAY\70 B'DAY WISHES BOB I have tried to do a screenshot, but it says it is too large.

Hi Lindanew, hope it’s OK if I jump in. Is it possible you simply dragged the Documents folder within Dropbox on your computer?
If you go to this page, do you see your Documents folder there?

Nancy i believe that is exactly what happened. My hand shook as i was moving the mouse. I didn't even realize i had dropbox on the computer but it was apparently there from 2022. The documents all ended up in the dropbox.
