Cannot find the dropbox.cache folder
im trying to clear the cache of my dropbox folder, current stuck with over 400gb of system data with all files set to be online only. Ive followed the guides online to locate the dropbox.cache hidden file within the Dropbox folder but the only hidden file that shows is the .dropbox file. Any ideas on how i can access this file?
Walter ive managed to sort the issue, i ran a space lens search on cleanmymac and found it was the .trash folder that was hoarding all the space. Strange that it didnt appear as a hidden folder when pressing cmd-shift-. in my dropbox folder.
Many thanks for your time reviewing this though
Matt

Hey there matt1984 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you let us know the desktop app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar/system tray at the moment?
Also, what's your computer's OS version?
Any additional information or screenshots are more than welcome!

Thanks for the additional information matt1984
Could you also have a look at the desktop app's preferences under the Sync tab and let me know the location of your Dropbox folder?
