Folders size
How can I see the size of the folders in my Dropbox? I'm reaching the storage limit, but I only have Word and PDF files. I would like to know which ones are the heaviest to delete them. I've tried to...

Hi there hugosc- thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
Can you confirm that you're following these steps and if so, that you're able to calculate the size of your folders one by one instead of all of them in one go for example?
Thanks!
Walter

Thank you for your quick answer, @walter!
I tried to follow those steps but I can't see any of those options. I see no size columns for files nor "calculate size" in the "..." for folders.
Is there any configuration that I should activate?
Thanks

Hey hugosc, in order to see the "Calculate size" option, first you need to click the dropdown menu on the far right of the "Name" column header in the all files page (right above your file names).
Change it to "size" from the options there and you'll then be able to see the "calculate size" option when clicking the ellipsis button.

Hannah thank you for solving this! So why is the info in 'help centre' still wrong two weeks later? In fact why was it wrong in the first place? I note @Walter also referred back to these steps - which is linked to the same incorrect information so he obviously didn't verify its accuracy. When even the most basic functions are hidden & inexplicably convoluted to activate, it would be nice if people who still use Dropbox didn't end up wasting more time pointlessly trying to follow incorrect instructions in the Help Centre! This is a perfect example of why I resent paying so much for such a woeful user experience.

Hi frangipanii, could you clarify which steps are incorrect? The article does state the steps to view the Size column in step 2.

Thank you Hannah! That was it! I solved the problem 🙂

The problem with the instructions is it brings everyone to the ALL FILES column listing of the folders from where the instructions make no sense. Instead the instructions should direct the user to folders listings under the large ''Drop files here to upload here...'' box in the middle of the page toward the bottom. Everything makes sense here and works smoothly from that point forward.
