How can I check the size of my folders in order to delete some files?

I got a notice that by dropbox was full.  I only have 7 folders mostly text, but notice says I've used 4.75 Gb. This seems unlikely. How can I check the size of my folders in order to delete some files?

  • Just checked my Dropbox folder. I shows 489.3 MB. Why am I getting message that I've reached my limit?

    1. Open the File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
    2. Navigate to the folder you want to check.
    3. Right-click on the folder and select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac).
    4. Look for the folder size information displayed, which includes the total size of the folder and its contents.
    5. Sort files by size to identify larger files you can delete. Right-click on unnecessary files and choose "Delete" to remove them.
