I right clicked on my dropbox file and clicked make online only..now what?
The dropbox file/folder in my laptop has over 400 GB. I made that file Make available Online Only but it still shows 400GB of my laptop space used.
What do I do? Do I delete the files that were in my laptop?
Please help,
Dante
Hi Legante90, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It should take a little time for the file to become online-only and to reflect this on the machine. You might need to reboot after marking it as online-only to see the change.
Don't delete the files on the computer, since they will also be deleted from the site.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

NO! If you delete the files from your Dropbox folder that would delete them from Dropbox online as well. Have you given it enough time to apply the change? 400GB is a lot of data and it won't become Online-only instantly. Dropbox needs time to apply the changes to each file.
