Incorrect Usage of Quota Reported

 I've just returned back to Dropbox after a long time since it stopped syncing since I was well over my quota.

 

I've moved almost all files out of my Dropbox folder and it has finished syncing. But it is now saying that I'm using 4.6Gb of 5.3Gb but the Dropbox folder only has 16.7Mb of files in it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

    In case you haven't checked this already, can you please go here and let me know if you see any backups on your Dropbox account? This may be one reason why you seem to have more files stored at the moment.

     

    Also, I'd like you to send me one more screenshot of what you see here, if you don't mind.

      Hi Nancy,

       

      Yes there was an unlinked PC backup which was 5Gb in size. I've now permanently deleted. 

      My Dropbox is now normal and the quota usage is as expected.
