Hey Gerardus, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
High Sierra is the minimum system requirement for the Dropbox desktop app to work correctly, so the website is not connected to that.
For the website to work correctly, your browsers need to be updated too.
What do you see when you go to dropbox.com, can you send us a screenshot?

Dropbox was already installed. It cannot be opened nor downloaded because the browsers Safari, Google and Firefox are too old and cannot be updated. I can however use Yahoo to open Dropbox.

I cannot send a screenshot at the moment as I am away. I have updated my OS to High Sierra but I cannot update the browsers as they need an even more recent OS. The browsers not updating for Dropbox are Google, Firefox and Safari. I can open Dropbox through Yahoo but need to go though a Brower to get to Yahoo, a convoluted path.
