Dropbox notification wants to load on startup in Mac OS Catalina
Hello. Think others may have had this problem but I can't find a solution!
I'm using a web version of Dropbox on my Mac (MacOS Catalina, only one now supported) and Dropbox keeps wanting to load at startup. Also offers to turn on accessibility options. I can't find anything under preferences on the app or on the Mac where I can turn this off. Do I have to install the Desktop app to make this work? Will this stop the web version loading? The only option I can think of is to delete Dropbox altogether! Many thanks (any instructions can't be too simple!). Steve

Thanks Mark. Think I'll probably delete the Web version and start again. One thing - I have a lot of files which have ended up in a folder called Dropbox -> Public -> Folder name on my computer. Can't think how that that happened as none of them appears within Dropbox itself! If I delete the web version, is there a risk I could lose these (very important) files? As you can see, I'm a complete novice at this! Thanks again

Hey steveHG, let me chime in, too. What you’ll need to do is delete the desktop app from your computer (not your web account, as this will also delete the files you’ve saved there).
Can you send me though a screenshot of the folder you mention, so that I can have a look before proceeding with any further actions?
