All done 🙂
Had to grant some permissions (full disk) to DB in Mac. Unlinked DB and then started over and let it choose the default path. It did go to Library/Cloud Storage and now all works fine. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, and I'm not techy enough to understand the solution you've written here. Can you (or someone) please lead me through the steps of fixing this problem so my Dropbox files don't all show up as zero bytes, as they currently do? I tried the "Fix permissions" procedure above, but it didn't work.

Hey StevMo1, let's jump right into this!
Feel free to share some additional details with me such as the OS you're currently using on your device, and the app's current version that you have installed there.
Other than "fixing the permissions" have you tried anything else on your end?
When did you first notice this?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thank you for your prompt reply! It's solved! I clicked on something in my Dropbox preferences - don't even remember what it was, some File Preference Service setting? - or something - and downloaded something from Dropbox that made all my files show up on my computer.
All good now, thank you!
