How to expand left sidebar width on the website?
How can I expand the left sidebar width. I have many levels of files and I can not see the names of folders that I want to move files into. As you can see below, all I can see is the first letter of the folder "A" and there are several of them. I want to be able to expand the left sidebar so I can see the names of those folders and not just the first letter. I was able to do it before, but not now for some reason.
Thanks!

What is the constraint?!? I rather doubt that it is a limitation of HTML5 or its successors...
I assume that there is some in-built use case assumptions in the code - surely this can be generalized so as to remove whatever "beyond a certain point" restrictions. In terms of functionality and usability, this is a bit of a pain ...- enquireNew member | Level 2
This appears to be a duplicate of a (locked) thread:

Same here. We use DB for work and at third level (so company name, department, department main folder), DB starts cutting off folder names. Our names aren't even that long. By the 4th level, where we start putting images/docs by client name, job, or product, I can only see a few letters and it makes keeping stuff organized very difficult. Especially between multiple people in the company. I'm starting to find new folders with the same names as other folders, each in different places, because people couldn't;t find the folder they needed so they made a new one.
You need to make it so we can extend the left folder sidebar, especially for business accounts.- Walter

I found two different postings requesting that the left sidebar be made more expandable. This one started by MariaSki and another one that was closed due to inactivity, started by BelzConsultant also about 8 months ago.
I have the same issue and I don't understand why more people don't vote it up. Anyone who has at least 3 levels of nested folders can't see the 3rd level properly and if there's a 4th level, you can't see it at all.

This locked BS left side bar width has been a hassle for years for me and it sucks like the Op said. I figured in 2025 they would have it figured out by now. This is why I have made so much use of PCloud and not DB. Fix it please. where do I sign

I see many discussions regarding this issue. Is anyone addressing this issue? I used to be able to expand the sidebar to see my subfiles. . . This is so very frustrating.

Everytime I want to view or organize my files on DropBox I feel resistance to go there, and I am glad I can leave the application again, all because of the too narrow left navigation pane. This is so annoying. I cannot read the titles of my subfolders. (I have 3 to 4 sublevels). dropboxer dropbox
Please, please, could the side bar be made flexible to a much broader width than it currently is? - Cookie4295New member | Level 1
It's very frustrating. There are numerous threads discussing this issue. I don't see the DropBox is even addressing the issue. . . I seem to be able to expand the left navigation bar in other programs, just not this one, where I need it most.
