I cannot install the desktop app on Linux Fedora 37
Gnome 43 has removed
libnautilus-extension.so.1
making it impossible to install Dropbox on Fedora 37. Please update the rpm installer to make use of the changes in gnome 43.

Hi there,
We've spoken to our team, and they've told us that they're aware of a caching issue that causes that endpoint to return invalid 404 errors. They're currently working on a fix for this, but in the meantime, retrying the link should work.
We also recommend clearing your cache before retrying, as this can assist with some common errors.

Currently the link that points to 64 bit rpm for fedora 37 is broken: 404
Any work in progress perhaps?
Broken URL given clicking the 64bit hyperlink:
https://www.dropbox.com/download?dl=packages/fedora/nautilus-dropbox-2022.12.05-1.fedora.x86_64.rpm
I was able to download going into compiling from source and then navigating here:
https://linux.dropbox.com/packages/fedora/nautilus-dropbox-2022.12.05-1.fedora.x86_64.rpm

I installed Dropbox @ Fedora 37 successfully today.
Now, I wonder why I cannot See, under Nautilus, the "special icons" showing the sync-status of each file/folder.
To be true, I see "additional icons" beside "shared folders", now the "check-marks" does not show...
Is that an issue only at my side, or it does NOT exist anymore?
Is there a way to solve it?
Many thanks for your help!

So not 'a fix available, please update'?
So it isn't yet a fix? - entodoays2 years agoHelpful | Level 5
You need to install the nautilus-dropbox package to get the icons and dropbox context menu.

'Re-install' / update, yes. The prev answer was 'we re working on it'

So why isn't there a 'clear this report' option?
AFAIK (with a re-install) this problem is cleared (until the next Linux update perhaps),
so please mark it as cleared?
