I can't edit txt files any more on the Dropbox mobile app on iOS

Hello,

 

Can anybody help me with a nasty problem with the IOS dropbox app?

 

I work only with .txt files which I create on my iphone/Dropbox App - Sync with Macbook (Dropbox basic) - all fine until last week.

 

The problem:

Editing does not work any more neither in existing nor in new files. The cursor appears for one second and disappears. Cannot write anything. 

 

The solution close at hand: uninstall Dropbox App and re-install it once again did not really work. No error message - nothing. I can only read exsiting files. Sync wiht Macbook not affected.  But the same problem again - so what do you counsel me to do now?
