My web account keeps freezing whenever I'm idle for more than 20 minutes.

I don't know what exactly has been changed, but being idle in a Dropbox folder on Web while working on a project (20-30 mins) causes issues with creating a new folder, or trying to move/copy/rename etc. It just freezes, and a refresh of the page keeps the page in a "loading" state. You have to fully close the tab and load Dropbox afresh for it to work again. Very, very, very annoying and it ruins the entire workflow. Having to navigate through all folders again to get back to where I was.

Also please allow this "suggestion" for where you want to move/copy something to be toggled on/off, because it hasn't provided me the correct location once and it always loads in late causing a missclick...

Hey bugreporter, thanks for posting on the Community.

Are you having similar issues even when switching to a different browser or staying idle for more than 20-30 minutes on an incognito window instead?

As for the suggestions you see when moving your files, can you post this separately as an idea here, while also following these tips?

Generally, it’s best to post standalone ideas for each suggestion, as this also increases the chances of more people upvoting them and our team can monitor them easier, too.

Let me know once you have more info.

What is the suggested/ideal browser to use for Dropbox on Web? Because every single time, no exceptions, when we contact support with an issue they ask us "did you try different browsers?", are we supposed to play browser roulette or something? We can't just use a different browser each time something is wrong with Dropbox, a browser represents a workflow in many cases. So I ask again, what browser are we supposed to be using that works effortless with Dropbox for Web?

Any web browser of the supported ones would do bugreporter

Just keep in mind that sometimes issues can crop up if you're using outdated versions of the browsers, certain extensions/plugins, and even some security software too.

I hope this helps a tad!
