New Community Forum Internal Server Error

 

Hi... Just some feedback about this new Community Forum Update - Kind Regards 

  • I've had the following error below (screen shot) several times now on different days. Requires the browser to be restarted (MS Edge - Windows 11 Workstation Build 26100).
  • The performance of this new support forum feels like a three legged dog running through treacle compared to the old set up. (WAN - 1.2Gb Fibre Connection)

    Hey Dave111

    Is there any particular pages you're seeing this error on? Have you seen it on other browsers? We did have a minor outage on Tuesday evening, but if you're continuing to see it please let us know. 

    As for your second comment, are you having issues loading on other browsers? Or is it just on Edge?

    Any information you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

      From memory the last internal Server Error happened when I had a long-ish thread open reading the comments, I then clicked the Edge back button top left on the menu bar. I tried to log any errors but Edge was frozen and required a restart.

      When using either Chrome or Edge the performance feels sticky... I seem to see the progress dots a lot whilst the page or comments are loading ... its only a few seconds but now I've noticed the slight delay and started to focus on it ... It's something I never became aware of previously.

      Other than that its a vast improvement .. 👍

    Thanks for sharing all of this feedback.

    If you experience another Server Error, would you be able to share a Capture so that we can gain a better understanding of what's happening?

    In regards to the performance feeling sticky, the Community prioritizes loading in important page content first, which may be contributing the feeling of asymmetric or sticky loading.

    Your input here is greatly appreciated! We've provided all of this feedback to our Community developer for review so that we can continue to improve our user experience.
