NSIS when uninstalling the app

Dropbox.com will not sync with Dropbox on my PC. Thought I'd uninstall Dropbox and start again. When I try and uninstall, I get an NSIS Error message saying"error launching installer" Any suggesti...

    After lots of trial and error I found this work for me. 

    1. Click on Start. Type Run
    2. Type C:\Users\Gravitino\AppData\Roaming Alternatively locate this folder called Roaming within your AppData folder.
    3. Inside this folder you would find Dropbox folder. Go into this folder, you would find a bin folder. Find the file called DropboxUninstaller.exe 
    4. Now if you click on this DropboxUninstaller.exe you would get same message as before "error .." Instead Right Click on DropboxUninstaller.exe and click on Run as Administrator.
    5. This will remove the Dropbox. Now you can make a fresh installation. Good luck!

I'm having the same issue. Dropbox wouldn't sync anything and I was getting the NSIS error as well. I tried Nigel's suggestion and it made the trick. Dropbox is working fine now but I can't uninstall it either.

I noticed your posts are 2 months old and it's a shame Dropbox hasn't publish any response...
