The Dropbox overlay icons are missing from our company-managed devices.
Hi,
I am managing a few computers with Microsoft Intune.
When I install Dropbox on managed computers, I always check that everything has synced and that it is on the latest stable Dropbox version...

Ok, so I think I solved the problem.
In Intune you can set Device Restirctions under "Devices -> Windows configuration -> Device restrictions".
In there i hade some App store restrictions, removed the few restrictions i had but kept "Install apps with elevated privileges".
Now the Overlay icons appear as they should! 🎉Screenshot:

Thank you for replying, I have followed the steps in both links but the overlayicons is still missing. :/
The only thing I noticed is that the "ks key" did not exist for me at this path:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dropbox\ks"
Do you have anything else I can try?
Btw I am on version 213.4.4597
Edit.
When I use the program Keepass and go to "open file" the file explorer shows correct overlayicons. Tried the same with Word and Excel, they do not show up there.

3 months agoThanks for updating me, AndreasTheMachine! Can you clarify what’s the current syncing status you see on the Dropbox app?
Other than that, you can also give these steps a go.

Sync status is: Your files are up to date.- Megan3 months ago

Hey AndreasTheMachine, thanks for trying anyways!
Can you send me a screenshot of what it looks like on your end, in order for me to have a visual too?- AndreasTheMachine3 months agoNew member | Level 2
Absolutly, but the attachment button dose not seem to work? And when i try to drag pictures into the "reply" it says "file is not allowed".
