When adding Google Drive to my device, Dropbox disappears from the start-up menu.
Has anyone had the experience of setting drop box to startup items on a mac and then added Google drive too. Google stays put in the login items but I maybe nut but Drop box disappears rom the login items.....Could someone try this too. I am using Sequoia 15.3...and a Mac Book Pro.....
Respectfully,
Glen

Hey Glen Harvey thanks for posting here!
Just to make sure we're aligned here, it sounds like you're using our desktop app, and you're specifically referring to our startup, right?
When you say that Dropbox disappears from the login items, would you be able to let me know more as to what happens then?
Does the app's icon go missing, or doesn't it start automatically when you open the device? If it's something else, let me know!
Also, what is the version of the app you're using on your end? You should be able to locate this by hovering your mouse over the little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Drop Box Version 29.4.446
The icon on the bottom taskbar DOES NOT disappear...The application is missing from the login items but the google drive remains.....I have to use both....so it is a drag when he Drop box disappears from the top task bar

Thanks for the info Glen Harvey!
Out of curiosity: do you notice the same behavior if you temporarily pause Google Drive? Or does Dropbox open without any issues then?
If you have any screenshots that you can send my way, feel free to do so in order for me to have a visual too.

Close then reopen G drive after it starts, or turn off its finder extensions.
