Hi
I figured out finally what was the cause of this slowness of my dropbox.
I traced up on startup application on my pc and found that youtube through web browser I used to play for music caused the video acceleration workload to my poor video card and it ended up slowness of display on dropbox.
I closed web browser with youtube and the speed of accessing dropbox went up.
So conclusively its more likely my graphics card problem.
You can close the case.
Thank you
Megan

Hey ponge77, does it help at all if you close the app temporarily, and then try to access your Dropbox content?
Or do you notice the same behavior?

Hi,
I have the same symptoms that you describes but your solution doesn't work for me.
I noticed the problem happened few weeks ago, when I updated my windows from Windows 8 to Windows 10 pro. My DB version is 207.4.5821
Anyone knows the solution ?

Hey matdelahaye, sorry to see that you're also having this issue.
Can you let us know what steps you've tried so far?
Also, how many files do you currently have in your Dropbox folder?
Right-click on it, to check the properties for that info.

Hi,
I have recently got the same problem, with very slow access to the files to catalogues in my dropbox using Windows Explorer. With Total Commander file browsing is fast like before, and Adobe Lightroom can access files fast as before. So it must be a problem either with Dropbox or Windows Explorer. I tried to reinstall Dropbox with but the install stopped with a message that verification of the downloaded file did fail. That happened also with antivirus disabeled. Os is Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-baserte systemer (KB5044380). The PC is a Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H has Nvidia RX 3070 graphics and 32 Gb RAM. I have Nvidia drivers version 565.90 , but will try and see if an older driver do a difference.
I hope there will be a solution to this problem.

Hi,
I think the problem is solved on my PC. I have done these steps:
1. Rebuilt the indexes.
2. In the command prompt window, as admin, type SFC /scannow and press Enter . The System File Checker (SFC) utility checks the integrity of Windows system files and repairs them if required. After the process is complete, reboot the computer.
This process found several errors and fixed them.
3. Installed the latest driver for the Graphics card which is in my case is Nvidia RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. The driver Version is 566.03
I did some other Things that I did not take note of. Which of the steps that fixed the problem I am not shure of, but I think it is 1 or 2.
