Windows Server 2019: LTS App Still Shows Unsupported OS Message

I'm using Dropbox on Windows Server 2019, and recently it stopped working, saying, "Support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 has ended." They provided a link to download a "Long-Term Support" app, but after installing it, I’m still getting the same message, and it won’t launch.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's frustrating, especially since I already installed the recommended LTS app. Any advice or workarounds?

For me it helped (so far) to opt out form early releases.
are you using early releases ?

Log into your account on a web browser. You should see the option under your preferences.
