I used to have no problem accessing audio files saved to my Dropbox through Transcribe+ iOS app. However, lately when I try to view files I see an (!) icon next to the Dropbox icon in Edit bar, and files in the window are greyed out or show download prompts. Can anyone advise?
This only appears in the dialog window from Transcribe. My Dropbox iOS app shows perfecting syncing.
Have you tried contacting the developers of that app for further assistance on what could be causing this?
They don't have a support group. At least, I haven't been able to find one. When I click on the support link on their website I get an error page. However, I have noticed that I get the same result using other similar apps.
Thanks for the info, as this issue is occurring in a different app, there isn't much support we can provide.
You could try disconnecting the app from this page, and then reconnecting it again in Transcribe to see if this helps.
If the Dropbox mobile app is syncing normally, and files can preview from that app, then it could mean that the apps aren't connecting to your Dropbox account somehow.
At the bottom of the dialog it says, "Syncing with Dropbox has been paused". Are there any controls in the iPad Settings I should look at?
Hi from me as well, Craig H.5!
I'm afraid there aren't any controls in the Dropbox settings for syncing with 3rd party apps, but not sure about iOS itself or the 3rd party app itself.
My best bet would be that it's some kind of setting within Transcribe.
Did you try disconnecting and reconnecting it to your Dropbox account, to see if that helps?
I haven't tried that. How do I do it? When I click on Jay's link above I don't see the app in the Dropbox Content list.
