Word isn't an option, just Word for the web.
WORD isn't an option just WORD for the web. Why isn't it available?

I thought it was. This hasn't been an issue before. Just started lately. Downloading again and don't know how to sync to the computer.
Would like to know how.

I've even tried to open through the file tab. Does not work either.

You havent answered my question from earlier.
Is Dropbox installed on your computer (www.dropbox.com/downloading ) and is that folder sync'd to the computer. You only get those options to open in Word if that's the case.

It use to open in word, but then it was occasionally, now it won't do it at all.

Thanks for the images. Could you confirm that these requirements are met in order for the Open button to work properly?

I am trying to open the file from our list, then click on "open in", then word for the web opens and it scrambles my files all up.
Not sure how to sync the files.

Hi charlieoetraining, in order to understand what you're seeing, could you copy and paste screenshots in your next reply to assist further?

Hello Megan,
We are using Windows.
Yes, Word files from dropbox to make corrections or adjustments.

How are you opening the files?
Can you give step by step instructions?
Do you have Word installed on your machine? Is Dropbox installed, and running, with those folders sync'd to that device?

Hi there, charlieoetraining, thanks for posting here today!
I'd love to be able to help as much as possible, but I think I'd like some more info here.
Would you mind clarifying which platform you're using on your end? Also, if I'm guessing correctly it sounds like you're trying to open your Word files, using our website right?
Feel free to clarify the exact steps you follow on your end.
Thanks a bunch!
