Can Dropbox Essentials Track Long-Term global Activity?

Hello,

I need to prove that an (authorized) person uploaded and then deleted documents on my dropbox.

Is it possible?

Can I have access to a global activity history?

I'm at dropbox essentials and the period is over 180 days ago.

(I'm thinking maybe overall activity history is different than just document retrieval).

Thanks!

This only applies if you are using a Team version of Dropbox. It is not the 'normal' ones - you would have had to have been a Team when you were wanting to rollback for it.

Otherwise the 180 day limit applies - basically what you see at www.dropbox.com/events

    Hi dasilverse

    No, unfortunately not.

The only information is at www.dropbox.com/events which shows all activity on an account. That is limited to 6 months. Dropbox does not store nor have access to any other activity data I'm afraid.

      Hello Mark ,

      Thank you for this information.

I'm not talking about another person who used my account, I'm talking about the activity of everyone who deposits, withdraws etc. files on Dropbox with their account.

It seems to be possible : https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/view-activity or

      https://help.dropbox.com/fr-fr/organize/recents-overview

But I wonder what the limit is for viewing this activity, is it the same limit as the 180-day subscription?
