How can I confirm that I cancelled my subscription?

It is fascinating that a post says Dropbox is here for 24/7 support. Of course, this only applies if you are a paid customer and that is ! How do I know if I need to be a paid customer if I cannot understand what type of account I need? Why can't free basic account customers get support? I am not encouraged to pay for an account when my experience thus far is so frustrating.

Folders were shared with me for a project, and I guess I had a basic free account. I did not know I needed a paid account to continue access those folders. The emails I received from Dropbox  about my account offered no way to ask questions, get support which I have been trying to do for days now, and then I was charged $200 for an annual subscription!!

I want to confirm my canceled subscription and if I will be charged any fees.

Hey jlrobinson75 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community.

Can you please let us know what exactly is troubling you or what were the questions you had?

As for cancelling your subscription, you can confirm if it's cancelled by taking a look at your plan tab.

When it comes to your support options, you can find more information here.

I hope this helps a tad and please keep me posted.
