How can I upgrade my account via the Google Play Store?

Hey TracyD2, welcome to the Dropbox Community!

 

If you're on a Plus subscription, purchased through the Google Play store, you should be able to upgrade to a monthly Professional plan for more space, by following these steps:

 

1) Open the Dropbox mobile app.
2) Tap the 'Account' tab in the bottom right corner.
3) Tap 'Manage your subscription'.

    I am in the same boat as the person who started this thread and your solution DOESN'T work.  What is the answer?  Or do Dropbox staff just not KNOW the answer (which is exactly how it looks)?

      Hey GinatheGenerous, thanks for the nudge here.

       

      There have been some changes to the UI of the app, but you should still be able to upgrade from Plus to Professional directly from the Dropbox app on your Android device.

       

      One way to do so, is to follow these steps:

       

      1. In your Dropbox app, tap Account (or Personal if paired accounts).
      2. Tap Upgrade.
      3. Select Billed monthly or Billed yearly.
      4. Confirm the upgrade.

      Let me know if that's not what you see on your end or if you have any other issues.

        I don't even get the "Account" link in my Dropbox app!
        A company that doesn't know its own rules. Ha!
