I upgraded my account but it still shows as Basic
I upgrade to dropbox plus and paid for a year, but nothing changed in dropbox. It says im still using the free version and i didnt even got an email. Please help

i recently upgraded to the 2tb and it took the $11.99 out my account instantly. In the app it’s still showing i’m basic account and i even went to restore purchases and still nothing . What do i do

When I turned on my app on my iphone, it offered me a free trial for a month. I was looking to increase storage space, so I signed up and instantly my apple subscription notification let me know I'd paid £9.99 for the Dropbox subscription! Furthermore, my basic Dropbox account has not been upgraded at all and is still basic. So I have been royally ripped off. I cannot get any help via phone since it only recognises me as a basic membership!

If l get this right, you upgraded your Dropbox account via the App Store on your mobile device, but you still appear to be on Basic, right?
After buying this subscription, did you perhaps receive a receipt from Apple confirming the purchase?
If so, let me know, and we’ll take it from there.- lex23 years agoExplorer | Level 4@nancy yes i upgraded from the actual dropbox app because it told me i have no space, yes i used my card and got a receipt in my bank saying 11.99 was taken from apple and if i go in my subscriptions on my phone it shows that i have a subscription with drop and i will be charged again March 29,2022 which would be the next month since i purchased it yesterday

I upgrade to dropbox plus my personnal acount on november 11th 2021 vía Apple app store, since that i receive monthly charges throught App Store but now four months later my account chance to basic again, in the plan section indicate that suscription was cancelled on december 11th 2021 and that is incorrect. Can someone please help me?.
Just for reference i have two dropbox accounts: the personnal linked to my personnal email and the business account paid by the company where i work and linked to my business email. The company is migrating to other supplier and is made change in Dropbox.

As a first step, could you try restoring your purchase from your Dropbox app on your Apple device, by following these steps?
In your Dropbox app, tap Account.
Tap on the gear icon at the top of your screen to access your settings.
Tap on Restore purchases, which should activate your last upgrade.

Hello! I have a problem with payment. 2 hours ago I payed for a year Tarif for dropbox plus from my telethon. not by card - money was debited from the phone account. but the money still has not come to dropbox account. number of transaction 372299408711 - but dropbox can't find it. phone operator said money had been debited.

According to your bank statement, was the charge made to Dropbox, iTunes, or Google Play?
Can you open your Dropbox app, tap on 'Account' then on the gear icon and then on 'restore purchases' to see if that helps?

- MorgesPainting3 years agoExplorer | Level 3I upgraded Dropbox through App Store in IOS, but the app still says basic. I deleted, reinstalled, restored purchases. It all failed. Even though if I go to manage subscriptions in Apple settings it says I have Dropbox professional, in the app it says I have basic. When I go to upgrade in the app it says im already subscribed.

Renewed subscription via App Store, still on the free plan. How did Dropbox become such a lost company?
Instead of focusing on features nobody in the world cares about, why don't they get their act together, and go back to making a file sync software that actually works?
They can't even keep track of billing and payments!

Before renewing did you cancel and downgrade on the plan you already had (I assume via website)? Reason I ask is that it isnt possible to swap payment plans between app stores and the website while one is in progress. So, if you didnt do that then you have accidentally set up a second account

I tried to restore purchases, signing in and out, and deleting the app. Is there anyway to fix this? Reading from a couple articles shows that this problem has been going on for a couple months for a lot of people. Has anybody found an applicable solution to this?

Hi!
I upgraded to Plus (monthly) in my webbrowser and paid with iDeal. In my bank account I can see that the money is transferred. However, my dropbox is not updated to Plus and is still saying my storage is full and I need to upgrade. I also didn't receive an invoice or receipt or an email about this.
What to do?

You likely need to wait a bit for the transaction to clear/finish processing. iDeal may have deducted the funds, but Dropbox might not have received them yet.

We paid for an upgrade on my account but the money went off the bankaccount however the upgrade did not happen.
The chatbox is frankly extremely un-helpfull, there is zero customer support.
We have a bank slip that supposedly has this dropbox alphanumerical code on it, but we cannot see it on there. then the billing request help doesn't have an option for IDEAL and debit cards.
Send an email to dropbox business and got back the most unhelpful reply to go the support portal that doesn't tell you anything.

If you made the payment by a bank transfer through a third-party, you likely need to wait for the payment to not only clear your bank, but make it to Dropbox as well. It likely takes a couple of days.
