Invoice for Basic subscription?

Hi!
I have a basic subscription that should be free of charge. But when I look at my credit card invoice it says that Dropbox have taken 120 USD from my credit card. Since I have the basic subscription, I cannot contact the support. What do I do? I need to know if Dropbox really have taken my money, and in that case, why. Or maybe I have been scammed somehow. Please advice, help!

    Hi Mark!

So sorry I did not answer your latest message, other more urgent problems took over. I have not seen the web page you suggested, I see that there is an option to contact Dropbox there that might help me. I will try that. Thank you so much for your help and patience!

Hi Mark, thanks for responding and so quickly also!
I do not remember if i gave them my credit card details in the beginning or not. Maybe I did as some sort of security? But when looking into my account it says that i have a free prescription so  why should I, I do not know. Sorry for being so confused!

I have tried to look at the page you suggested before but it says that the transaction should have a number on the credit card bill that I need to use to be able to find the transaction on Dropbox. But there is no number. It says DROPBOX db.tt/cchelp. I do not know what that means. Do you? I guess you are right and I have to talk to my card company.

Usually people set up second accounts by accident.

Have you been to the web address given?

Dropbox cannot charge you if you have not given them your card details - is the simplest answer. So, if you EVER gave them your card details (e.g. for a trial?) then the charge is genuine and legitimate. If you DIDNT then somebody has cloned your card and you need to speak to your card company.

Use https://help.dropbox.com/billing/find-credit-card-charge to work out which account has been upgraded and see if you recognise the email.
