My colleague's account has been compromised and we've opened a ticket.
Hoping this finds its way to someone in support...
IT administrator here. One of my users fell victim to phishing, had email account compromised, and in the path of destruction, a long-dormant Dropbox account was taken over and is being used to spread phishing materials, presumably PDF files with links that will pop a false login.
Email account is now recovered. Submitted a support ticket, 24777109.
Bad guy apparently used man-in-the-middle to bypass 2FA on corporate email account, so some level of sophistication. Imperative to stop the file sharing. Reputational damage to my company and to Dropbox. If there is a forum admin lurking who is feeling heroic and can escalate the ticket, it would be appreciated.
