Support for dropbox free teams ends March 31, 2022
ciao, oggi ho ricevuto una mail che mi informa che dal 31 marzo non sarà più possibile utilizzare il team di lavoro in modalità free😅 volevo capire se effettivamente dal primo aprile le cartelle ...
- 3 years agoHey Sveva, thanks for posting your questions to our Community.
With the deprecation of free teams, the only things that are changing are:
1) Account pairing (if you have your free team account linked to a personal one, they will get unlinked)
2) You will no longer be able to access team features, like groups.
Everything else in your account, along with your files and sharing permissions will remain the same.
For more info, you can take a look at the email you received about this.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hello everyone!
So Dropbox Paper files remain unaltered? Or do they undergo some kind of change in permissions etc etc?Thank you so much for your responses, as my team and I use Dropbox Paper to take track of various aspects of our work

Hannah - perhaps you can help me too. Since the disbanding of teams (which I was never aware of anyway) my personal DropBox folders have physically disappeared from my laptop. I can still see them via DropBox.com if I log in, but they are no longer on my computer. How do I get them back.
All my business DropBox folders and files are still visible on my computer and syncing with other users of the same folders.

Hi jbj1963, when the personal and work account unlinked, the first account connected on your device remains there, meaning the work account.
As you work account is now also a personal account, you can't have two personal accounts syncing on the machine at the same time.
You can unlink your work account from the desktop app and link your personal account if you prefer those files to sync instead.

Hi @Hannah,
I suddenly got that message as well. The Team dropbox is not on my computer anymore and I just logged in on a browser and there are no more files in the old Business Team folder anymore??

Thanks for the nudge, cherrycolalola.
Have you tried searching for them on our site?
How about your shared tab? The team folders should be turned into shared folders now, so they may be there.

Many paper documents that I once had access to are not available any more.
They show up as "404 We can’t find the page you’re looking for."
Can you please provide help with this? - Jochem van Hal3 years agoNew member | Level 2
Ha All,
My work dropbox was also cancelled. There are numerous remarks on that my files are still 'there', and only the plan was cancelled. But where can i find those files? The dropbox proffessional icon is gone.
My personal dropbox is still there but that doesnt contain all my workfiles. And i dont know for all the files what the original source was where i made them on. I use various machines to create content, but used dropbox to not worry where i wanted to use them.

Sign in to the Dropbox website using the email address and password that you used for your work account.
- Jochem13 years agoExplorer | Level 4Ha Rich,
I did Just that several times. On all my devices and the Cloud there seems to be a digital misunderstanding between my (oldest) personal account and my (newer) professional account. Every device and every sign in keeps redirecting me to the same (personal) dropbox. The professional navigator tab that is (automatically) removed is no where to be found. So are my 2GB professional files.
