The e-mail I used fod my Dropbox account was hacked and I no longer have access to it. I have tried to change the address in settings, but the system will not accept the new address. Every time I log on, Dropbox informs me that it can't access my e-mail address and I may lose my Dropbox account. I won't receive an e-mail telling me that there is an answer to this, for the above reason, so I hope I find it when there is one.Solved1.3KViews1like2CommentsAccount has been deleted?
Hello, I had an account that I used on a - not so often - basis but I would go in and get what I need and get out. The problem is today I needed to go in and Dropbox says my email is not related to any account. I asked to change my password, which it did and I see everything I had is lost!!!! How can I retrieve my information please? Help!!!!! AndreSolved4.2KViews1like6CommentsChanging email address
I have a spelling error in my email address that is associated with my DropBox account. This should be a simple fix but it won't allow me to edit my email address. Dropbox wants me to verify my email address (the wrong email with the spelling error) and of course I do not have access to verify the misspelt email address. How doI correct my email address? Why is this so difficult to figure out? Please help.752Views1like3CommentsDisbanding my account
Hello! I am trying to disband my dropbox account and they are telling me to log into my admin credentials? What is this and how do I find that login page? There actually aren't even members on a team, I am the admin and only user connected to the account. Additionally how do I access the Locked State Decision Page? Thank YOU!Solved2.4KViews1like2CommentsAudit file/folder access for large Business / Group Dropbox account
I've taken over management of an organisation with several large business dropbox accounts. I can see we have a large amount of data that has been shared with external parties, there has been no oversight of this and it would appear that there are some documents that are sensitive that have been shared that shouldn't have been. I really need to audit the entire tenant, and I will need to do so reasonably regularly going forward, but I can't seem to find the tools to do so. Other threads on this site suggest that our only option is to use the the command line API tool to script our own audit of Dropbox access? Can you confirm that this is the case? To be explicit, what I am looking for is to be able to list folders / folder paths and which groups or individual users are able to access that folder, or if some other sharing feature has been used to allow access to those files outside of the immediate users that have primary access to the dropbox tenant. Are there any tools that allow this for Dropbox?1.8KViews1like5Comments
