Problem with attachment in Apple mail
I work on a Mac Studio (chip M2) with mac os x sonoma 14.4. All my documents are synchronized in dropbox and I use the desktop version of dropbox I have a problem for a few days now that prevents me from attaching documents to emails with Apple Mail When I attach a document, apple mail indicates "download", but the attachment is never in the message. Although the email starts, the person receiving it is unable to read the document because it appears corrupted and weighs 0 kb. If I use Outlook, the problem does not exist. If i use another computer with Apple Mail and Mac OS X Sonoma, the problem does not exist. If I forward an email with a received attachment, the problem does not exist. If I save a received attachement and then I send a new message with this attachement saved earlier on my Mac, the problem does not exist. When I get an e-mail with attachments and I want to save the attachments, I choose the synchronized folder and it seems to save the files. Then when the folder opens, it is empty. Google Documents Opened In Dropbox Are Crashing Chrome
I provide support for some end users, recently I have received reports from a few of my users that they are having trouble opening google document files in dropbox. The specific symptoms are as follows: - the user attempts to open a google document stored in dropbox, either through dropbox directly or through a link in an email or chat application - user is taken to the document in a new tab and asked to sign in to dropbox with an account - user selects "sign in with google account" and the page attempts to authenticate them - this process fails, displaying a generic error message (a la oops, something went wrong), and google chrome completely locks up, needing to be force quit We have done a fair bit of troubleshooting: - logging out of and back into both google and dropbox accounts - Restarting google chrome - Restarting their macbook - Clearing all chrome data (settings, cache, history, etc.) - Reinstalling chrome - Deleting all cache files in ~/Library/Application Support/Google/ - Opening the links in other browsers - logging into the user's google and dropbox accounts on a different local user account on the macbook - logging into the user's google and dropbox accounts on a different macbook altogether From these troubleshooting steps we have determined a few things: - the issue is only present in the google chrome browser, it does not present in safari or firefox - the issue is specific to the user's local account on that specific macbook, it is not present if the user logs into another local user account or another macbook - the issue seems to be related to the single-sign-on process I'm stumped at this point as to what could be causing this issue and was hoping your team might have some insight. Links from Dropbox no longer show a preview on Apple Messages

I can't edit Numbers spreadsheet online
I'm in a team of 3 with a shared dropbox - not my account but I have my own paid subscription so plenty of room in the shared online dropbox space. I am working on iMac with Numbers spreadsheet and Pages word-processing. I don't have Microsoft Office and can't afford it. I can upload my Numbers spreadsheet to the online dropbox space (export as Excel) where we can all access and edit anything. But though my two colleagues can edit the uploaded file, I can't. This is a major problem as I need to access it when travelling. I've tried using Libre Calc and it's the same problem. Lightroom Classic (Mac) Catalog Folder Structure broken through /Library/Cloudstorage change - help!
I recently updated my Dropbox library to the new structure (I believe) required by Apple and this has caused a breaking issue on Lightroom Classic on Mac because of the path structures have changed Old: /Users/cd/Dropbox/Pictures/Lightroom/2023/2023-12-16 New: /Users/cd/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox/Pictures/Lightroom/2023/2023-12-16 Due to Lightroom having issues with this, my images are being split into two different folders with in the _app's folder_ structure (it used to mirror the Finder's but now there are duplicates for every item created AFTER the update. There is a 'fix' for this called the 'capitalisation bug fix' which should work but I wanted to flag on Dropbox and see if anyone here has run into this issue as I think more than just me will have their catalogs in Dropbox. In regards of " Your Dropbox folder will be moved to ~/Library/CloudStorage. Due to the change of the Dropbox folder location, files that were previously linked in some third-party applications will need to be linked again." I have a wordpress Woocommerce based e-shop where people can download files and zip after receiving an email link. My question is: will I have to relink the dropbox folder files based on my Mac or will be it synchronised automatically? In short will it affect woo commerce dropbox intehgration?
