Removing Dropbox from my computer is proving to be a nightmare. My computer Operating system is Windows 10. I have managed to un sync from my account and deleted all the folders concerned in my Dropbox account. On my computer the Dropbox folder is located C:\Users\dough\Dropbox and it contains a "PC" folder in which contains Desktop, Documents, and Downloads. Whenever I uninstall or delete the Dropbox folder I lose all the content from those foldersDesktop, Documents, and Downloads. I have no need for Dropbox and wish to remove it completely from my computer, would you please explain to me how to do this. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.Solved11KViews2likes27CommentsRemoving My Mac folders from Dropbox
Hello - I have on on-going issue that I need help. I wish to remove the“My Mac” folders (/Desktop, /Downloads and /Documents directories using a .local folder) from my Dropbox account that got erroneously installed during the set-up of a new computer (running Big Sur 11.1). Unfortunately, I have been unable to disable the "computer backup" feature under my account, preferences, etc. It only says SET UP (but I have already set it up). In addition, I cannot get the device unlinked from dropbox.com when I try that method. All of this is is all being done on the same device where computer backup was set up, but it is still not working. I need some help undoing this. Thank you.1.8KViews2likes3CommentsHow do I transfer photos from dropbox to my computer and delete them from my dropbox?
How do I transfer photos from dropbox to my computer and delete them from my dropbox.com? Can I move my pictures from my Dropbox app and then move these pictures to one of my desktop hard drives? Simple and easy to follow answer please! This task should be very easy, but it seems quite a hard thing to do from within Dropbox! I have googled for how to delete photos in Dropbox, but the answer that comes back is to click on the ellipsis, the 3 dots, in the upper right corner - but there is none there. There is no menu to delete anywhere, and I know to be on the Timeline view, and not the Preview.Solved8.1KViews1like9Comments
