Dropbox Paper
28 TopicsUnknown folder appearing: "Migrated Paper Docs"
I recently discovered that a new folder has appeared in my main folder. The folder is called "Migrated Paper Docs". It contains a Dropbox Paper-document called "_Brainstorm_ What's your topic_ (Previously deleted)" and a folder called "Sample Docs". That folder contains a Dropbox Paper-document called "_ Get started with Dropbox Paper" The folder and it's contents seem to have been created 2024-10-30 except the "Get started..." document, which seems to be from 2017. I don't seem to have any documents in Dropbox Paper when I log in there. I can see the folder and it's content on all my devices and on dropbox.com, but all my other files have a green check mark, while this folder has a gray circle with a white cloud (whatever that means). Why was this folder added to my files? Is it safe to delete?Solved350Views0likes1CommentHow to upgrade from Legacy Paper?
I found other forum discussions about how to update from Legacy Paper to the "2020 release"... so that we can have our files all organized in Dropbox (storage)... versus the Paper file system. Those discussions suggest that there was not a way to manually upgrade... BUT, since those discussions are 3 or 4 years old... I figure there must now be a way to do it... Right? There is a way to upgrade now, right? (Insert "Anakin / Padme meme here)Solved2.3KViews2likes8CommentsLive Dropbox to Spreadsheet integration is lacking!
With the advent of Dropbox Paper why hasn't the app made it possible to generate a table of my files/folders to a spreadsheet with live updating (or not) Given the power of AI, can the Dropbox developers look at building a smart files-to-text function, so that I can quickly export a .csv or text list of my files that I'm then able to share. This is a simple terminal command in other operating systems, why doesn't this happen natively in Dropbox?810Views0likes1CommentDropbox Paper, where is the link to access it?
Hello everyone, My name is Pablo and I'm a student from Spain. Recently, my team and I have been using Google Docs for our study projects. However, we've encountered some issues despite following the recommendations we found here: https://cincodias.elpais.com/cincodias/2016/10/21/lifestyle/1477059838_404192.html, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to resolve them. I recently learned that Dropbox offers a similar tool called Dropbox Paper https://pmedia.es/dropbox-paper-la-herramienta-ideal-para-la-colaboracion-en-proyectos-de-diseno-web/ which is ideal for collaboration on projects like ours. I've tried accessing it from my Dropbox account at https://www.dropbox.com/homebut I can't find the option to access Dropbox Paper. Could someone help me find how to access Dropbox Paper from my https://www.dropbox.com/home?I would greatly appreciate any guidance on this matter. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, PabloSolved1.5KViews0likes1CommentI'd like to have the option to see multiple different Google calendars in Paper.
Hello, my Google Calendar has a couple of different feeds within it; when I connect it to Dropbox, it seems only to display meetings from the main one. I have shared calendars with family/friends and ones from work, and all of them have events that I would like to be able to take notes on. Most other productivity apps like this allow you to go into settings and turn the various calendars on and off. It would be nice if Dropbox did the same. Thank you.523Views0likes2CommentsMake Dropbox Paper to generally accept .MD files I made with Obsidian or elsewhere
Hi I would love to use Dropbox Paper if it was as good as Obsidian. Please make Dropbox Paper to generally accept .MD (markdown) files I made with Obsidian or elsewhere with similar features as Obsidian like the Canvas. Naturally the .MD files should stay viewable and editable in any text editor or .MD viewer or editor. Thank you!689Views0likes1CommentDropbox Paper Android/iOS Table Editing Support!
I have been using Dropbox Paper for over 5 years for the hopes that one day I would be able to edit my tables from my phone or tablet. That day never came. Me and my partner can't rely on Dropbox Paper because we need a laptop/PC to be able to add or edit our tables in our shared documents, how ridiculous! I'm not sure why the ability to edit your tables from a tablet or phone is non-existent when the Paper documents are cross platform. Please, PLEASE add support for iOS and Android devices to be able to add and edit tables in Dropbox paper (even adding removing columns and rows would be super useful).516Views0likes1CommentDitching Evernote for Dropbox Paper - 2023 edition
Hey all, so evernote is jacking their pricing up again, and I'm just not sure why I keep letting them do this to me. I'm considering moving to paper. Mind you, evernote got pretty fancy from a UI/UX end, and I have been using it for YEARS. I'm pissed I have to consider leaving, but I'm also asking myself why I keep spending money when I already pay for dropbox. Have you all found a way to move files from evernote to paper easily? Am I going to have to rebuild the library again? Have you found a better alternative to evernote and/or paper?4KViews4likes2Comments
