I had linked my Apple ID to a now deleted Dropbox account and I can't use it to create a new one.
Dear Dropbox Support Team, I previously used Dropbox and had linked my account to my Apple ID. However, I deleted that account years ago. Since then, I’ve been unable to create a new account on iOS using “Sign in with Apple” or link my Apple ID to an account with the same email address. Every attempt results in an error message with ERROR 500, even when I try different email addresses or use Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature. It seems my Apple ID is now completely unable to use Dropbox, which is causing significant disruptions to my workflow. I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue. Hi, We are currently setting up new Mac devices for our company. These Macs are completely stock with no pre-configured installations. We’re encountering an issue where Dropbox cannot log in. The error message states that a CAPTCHA has not been filled in. The issue is inconsistent—on some Macs, Dropbox logs in without problems, while on others, the CAPTCHA error appears. We’ve only tested in incognito mode on devices where users are already logged in to avoid interfering with active sessions. Troubleshooting Steps Tried: Tested on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox (all latest versions) Rebooted the devices Completely reinstalled macOS Disabled the firewall Connected to different networks to rule out router limitations Despite these efforts, the issue persists unpredictably across devices. Some work fine, while others do not. Could you provide any insight into what might be causing this behavior and possible solutions?
I'm being asked to enter a valid email address on my Android mobile app and I can't sign in.
Hi everyone. I get "Please enter a valid email address." on android 5.1.1. The email eddress is good, on a desktop pc, i can login. I've tried everything, even changed the ROM on the device. Please help me. Thank you.
My friend can't accept my invite to become trusted contact; Dropbox says his email is in use.
I invited a friend to be my trusted contact for my Dropbox vault, but he can't accept the invite. He said that it tells him "email already in use". He tried to log into Dropbox, but then it prompted him to create an account, indicating that he doesn't have one. If he doesn't have an account, how can the email already be in use? What can he do? I registered to Dropbox with my AppleID and now, I can't delete my Dropbox account.
Hello, I am trying to delete my Dropbox account that was initially registered using my AppleID. When I try to delete my account on the iPhone app, it gives me an error saying "something went wrong, an unknown error occurred". This makes it impossible to delete on iPhone app. I have tried doing the same thing by logging in to my account on different browsers on my computer, and it gives me an error when i submit my account deletion request with the following error: I need help deleting my account please. Is there someone from the Dropbox team that could help me out with this issue? Thank you

Hi, I was trying to apply for this Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2025) position but after fill all details in the from and press "Submit Application" nothing happens. In the console I am getting "Request to access cookie or storage on “<URL>” was blocked because it came from a tracker and content blocking is enabled" and no other messages. Can someone help me with this, please?
