I am trying to enable cosharing between me and a friend. To do that, I am trying to add my Dropbox as a place in Excel, but whenever I log into my Dropbox, which is my personal email, it tells me to contact an admin. But it is my personal email, so I am the admin? Does anyone know what to do? Thanks!24Views0likes1CommentOpening Microsoft files ends up in an endless loop asking for authorization.

I'm having trouble getting Microsoft Office Online to load properly. When I open a *.docx document as the preview and choose "Open with Word for Web" my browser opens a new tab and the loads the same *.docx file in the preview mode. If I go to the same dropdown and click "Open with Word for Web", it opens yet another tab that also ends up being the same preview folder. The Word for Web loads properly if I use the DropBox browser interface to create a new document. However when I close it, I am back to the original situation where if I try to open it with Word for Web it only loads a new tab in the preview view. Can somebody help me get this working again? This situation started suddenly and is new to me.1.1KViews0likes12CommentsUnable to open Excel files on Android Dropbox mobile app - Office login loop
Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Hello, We have just moved all of our team's Mac devices to 'File Provider' to enable co-authoring, and there's only one Mac device that doesn't have the option to add 'Dropbox for Teams' as a storage account in Microsoft Office. We have - Updated to the latest version of Microsoft Office (Version 16.92) Updated to the latest version of Dropbox (v214.4.5217) Have moved Dropbox over to File Provider (Sync setting says "You are on the latest version of Dropbox for MacOS on File Provider") Checked that we are running macOS Sonoma Version 14.7.2. Why can't we see 'Dropbox for Teams' when we go to Microsoft Word > Open > Manage Storage Accounts? The only options under 'Add Storage Account' are OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. Thanks. AKSolved170Views0likes4CommentsCannot open Excel files with the Excel app through Dropbox on iPhone
I use the Dropbox app on my iphone. I used to be able to open excel files in excel by using “open with - excel”. But now it sends me to a screen saying Microsoft Integration wants permission. I hit the Allow button (the only other option available is “learn more”) and it just takes me back to the list of files in Dropbox. I can never get past that. I used to be able to open them from the Excel app as well, but not now. What has changed and what can I do?Solved9.4KViews0likes32CommentsExcel for the web is no longer able to load files.
Hello, My friend and I share multiple excel files that we use regularly. So far that worked like a charm! We've done so for years and we never really had any problems. But since this week, the larger files won't open anymore. Even files that we don't update anymore and always opened in Excel for the web, won't open anymore. Has anything changed? I've tried different browsers, clearing the browser cache, but it isn't working. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance!115Views0likes11Comments
