Hello, This is for my other, main account. 1. I recently changed my account password log in. At least I thought I did. 2. I deleted the old email account. 3. I tried to log on with the new account email. 4. Error Message 5. Clicked password reset. 6. Reset email never appears 7. I added no reply to the contacts. 8. Submitted again. 9. Nothing. 10. I tried to submit some sort of ticket, as I am caught in a loop. Help, life's work of files there. I must have mistyped when I changed the log in. Hi, Ever since dropbox started forcing its users to change password, I’ve been locked out of my account. I no longer have access to my email and I’ve tried several ways to access my account including customer support but they have not been helpful. Im a musician and I have songs on there that I wrote years ago that I’ve not heard since and it’s really upsetting that Dropbox will not allow me to access my account even though I am using the correct username + pass. it’s easy for admin to see I’ve been trying to access this account since about 2016 and clearly nobody else has logged in since I’ve been contacting support. I’m wondering if anybody could help me with this? I think I made up random credentials when opening the account so I couldn’t pass that security check. Has anyone had luck with asking support to temporarily remove the restriction so that I can log in with my credentials and change the email once I’ve regained access? Hi, Dropbox forced me to reset the password but I cannot currently log in to the linked email to do so. The old password is not working to change the email address there via desktop where I am still logged in. Old password not working to change the email address and email address not working to reset a new password. Endless circle. Can anyone help, please? I also contacted my mail provider, but the email address has been stolen and I am not sure, how much they may help. I've tried to change my password with a password manager (not dropbox password manager). But it seemed to overrule the old password which is needed to do the change. Somehow I messed the process up, got the password changed to a new hard-to-remember but not stored correctly in the password manager. Now I can only access my account from my desktop app - not from a browser or tabletapp where I happened to log out and when asking for resetting my password I get the message, that I have tried too many times and should try again in a couple of minuttes. I've waited all night - and still get the message to wait - no resetting-mail. What to do and what to expect? Dear sirs, I'm old client of Dropbox, under the E-mail [removed] But there is a problem: my password "expired". I didn't know about "expire" and it is a big problem. I can't set a new password, as "[removed]" server doesn't exist anymore. I can't receive an E-mail in [removed] address. I need to change these address to [removed] How do I do it?
