How to log into my account and where are my files?
I want to resolve this? I see two things. 1. How do I login to my account? It asked me to create a new account with my previous email on file so it can say there is already an account associated... 2. I want to locate deleted files or files that were inside my dropbox that were there some years ago. I did not erase them. I see they were not there were I had them. 3. In the future I would not post this to the community, so I have only shown the last four of each...
Is there zero knowledge encryption for the Professional account?
Currently have a Professional account - spending around $20 / month. Is there any way to get zero knowledge encryption (end-to-end encryption) at the Pro level? I'm not eager to spend even $5 more per month. My use case is basically home filing and I have a few questions along these lines. I want some of my folders to support end-to-end encryption and some not. Can I configure this feature at a folder level? Use case: I have some files I want to protect because I don't trust any cloud service. Legal, tax, and other personal files fit into this category. I may want to save some of my files to these E2E encrypted folders from my phone. Use case: I get an email with a tax file. I want to save that directly to the encrypted dropbox folder without going to my computer to do it. I.e. the Dropbox app must be able to encrypt the file before uploading and store my encryption key. Given Dropbox still has my key, is this really secure? I mean, it wouldn't be beyond reasoning that a hacker could compromise Dropbox, access my encryption key, then access my files. I'd want to backup my encryption key locally and possibly rotate & re-encrypt every year or so. Is this possible? Thanks, folks!
A user can't verify their email in order share files on their account
Dear Support, I have a customer who is experiencing issues accessing the "Shared" folder in Dropbox. He is presented with a prompt that says "Confirm your email" along with a button labeled "Send confirmation email." After clicking the button, he receives an email with a "Verify your email" button. However, when he clicks this button, he is redirected back to the Dropbox homepage, and nothing has changed. If he navigates to the "Shared" section again, the same message, "Confirm your email," appears. Also when he trys to share a Dropbox file as link he is meet by the prompt "You cannot share until you have confirmed your email address." I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Yesterday, my time from 8:00, my computer was encrypted. I have two files on DropBox that I cannot function without. I remember the password to DropBox (the account was created around 2009). Unfortunately, for some time DropBox has introduced that in order to get to the account, you have to enter a code that was sent to the email. The email account was also created around 2009 and since then I have never logged in again (I am not sure about the password to the email). It seems that the email account has been disabled due to the lack of login. I wrote to the provovedar but contact with the service is difficult. How can I download two files from my account. I know their name, date. I have access to all files but they are encrypted. One folder was shared with another user but these two files that are important to me are not there. Please help me gain access to these files (these are ZIP files, a database copy of my program).How can I remove some users from the list of external collaborators?
I can gave access to some "Joe Random" to a file he needed to download. Fine. All good. 4 years later, the file is deleted, and his name still comes up on my list of external collaborators. There is zero reason for any Rando's to be listed here. There are 91 of them. There should be like 4-5 of them. How can I get rid of these names that no longer need access to files? I received an email that might be spam - how can I be sure about it?
Received an email from the no reply dropbox emailon my work email in regards to a "Employee Pay Increase Confirmation Statement", but the invite party isn't my companies HR email address. Is this Spam??? To be upfront no conversations have taken place. But, It is that time of the year. My HR head is unsure as well, but thinks its spam. Attaching Snippet for more context... I invited a friend to be my trusted contact for my Dropbox vault, but he can't accept the invite. He said that it tells him "email already in use". He tried to log into Dropbox, but then it prompted him to create an account, indicating that he doesn't have one. If he doesn't have an account, how can the email already be in use? What can he do? What can I do?
