What's the best way to back up the Dropbox folder if I don't have enough space to sync all files?
Hello, I'm using Dropbox Business with Smart Sync. I would like to brckup my entire dropbox to an external hardware (alternative ideas welcome). According to Dropbox support I would have to: move my dropbox folder to the external hard drive change smart sync settings to all local move my dropbox folder back to the computer hard drive adjust all smart sync settings According to support there is no way to just download the entire dropbox to an external hard drive. Additionally "there's a small—but real—chance that the app will start deleting files". So that is obviously not an option. Question: How do I backup my dropbox?Solved73KViews4likes30Comments
Pdf viewer in web browser
Hi: I used to be able to view pdf files in Chrome's native pdf viewer. Suddenly, I am no longer able to view files through Chrome's viewer, but only through what looks to be some new dropbox proprietary viewer. I'd like to be able to go back to the Chrome viewer, as the dropbox viewer has cut pdf functionality significantly. How can I go back to viewing my pdf files on Chrome's native pdf viewer? Didn't Save, Need to Recover File
Hi there. I'd been working on an Excel doc on desktop Dropbox and accidentally closed the program without saving. Now I've lost 4 hours of progress and can only restore to the version I last saved at 2pm yesterday. Isn't Dropbox supposed to autosave versions every few minutes? Please send help asap!
