I can't sign in due to a security code being sent to an email I can't access
Dropbox on my PC and iPhone used to be perfectly synced. When I added or edited content on either, it would show up on the other usually within minutes. I recently got a new PC and when the installers set it up my DB worked great on my new PC. Except that I soon discovered that it was no longer synced to my phone. So I deleted my iPhone DB and tried to just sign in again on my phone in hopes that would solve the problem. Little did I realize that to sign in you requires username (e mail address), password and then DB sends a six digit security code to your e mail address (the one you used to sign in). The problem is that e mail address no longer exists, and I can't recreate it so I can't retrive the security code they send me to sign in. So now I've lost all my DB content on my phone and can't figure out how to re open that account on my iphone so that all of my PC DB files will sync to it. HELP! Thanks Mac
Password files and folders protection and sharing payable add on for Family plan
Quick and Simple business win for happier customers: -create a billable add on feature to the family plan to be able to password protect files, folders, and sharing them like with pro accounts. Other pros accounts does not meet familly personal use (up to 6 users, Vault, shared space) but still need password protection in occasions and I am sure tons of people would be willing to pay for this extra feature. How to fix permissions on a file in order to have it sync on Mac OS?
I'm currently seeing this If I click on Fix, it shows me this Then when I go to folder, it's unclear how to fix, going to Share as suggested I just get this I think I may have clicked "no" by mistake when the system asked to share originally, how do I fix this sharing decision?How do I add end to end encryption on my files?
Hello! I am completely new to Dropbox. After downloading thousands of photos, I discovered that Dropbox doesn't have end to end encryption which is disappointing. I have been told to add my own encryption. Would someone know how I do that please? It doesn't help that technology is not my strong point. Thank you in advance.
re-linking a device
I had to install a new Windows OS, and was afraid that doing so might delete all my files and then sync those deletions--so I unlinked this PC from Dropbox. Actually, nothing was deleted on my PC. But now, I can't figure out how to get this PC linked again so it will sync. I have searched the FAQs, but can find NOTHING on how to re-link. Please HELP!! Thank you.
