Download files fail, cancelled or incomplete
Every time I try to download a file I get a failed, cancelled or incomplete status in Chrome or FireFox.
I am trying to download an OVA file which I have purchased. After notifying the seller, they claim that
the issue is with DropBox.
I am attempting to do this on a desktop PC, Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit)

Hi TERGUS, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
Could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely?
Keep me updated with any progress!

Hello Jay,
Thank you for your response. I am using Windows 8.1 Pro (64 Bit) using only Windows Defender. I have attempted to download a large OVA file at least 30 times, but never getting past 2GB of 20.4GB. Have used both Chrome and FireFox in both normal and incognito modes.

At this point I am totally frustrated.
I am using a desktop PC running Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit) and have downloaded the desktop Dropbox app, which I am assuming is working correctly. When I click on the Dropbox icon it opens the Windows File Explorer. From here on out I am totally lost.
I have upgraded to Dropbox Professional, since the file I need to download is 20.4 GB.The file I am trying to download is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2mphf8rq9so9rlh/Mercedes_2019.ova?dl=0
I would like to thank you in advance for your considerate attention and help with resolving this problem.

Hey TERGUS, thank you for reaching back to us. I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
It isn't currently possible to download files that are that large via the web interface. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Are you accessing the file through a shared link? Do you use the desktop app, by any chance? If you do, can you try syncing the content locally to the device?
Keep me posted!
