Hey, so I want to stop using dropbox and I want my files to back off DropBox and go onto my computer because I have the dropbox Basic and I had 100go free when I get my computer but now it will expir...
Yeah I want my main folders go back to thir location. Like when I save à picture and its sync in Dropbox, I want to be able ti have ut on my computer even if I uninstall dropbox

Dropbox StaffI have the same issue. Still getting 'link' on documents 'where are my files". I want to get all of my files back on my computer as I no longer want to use Drop Box.

Hey dockap, if backup is off for your computer, and you still have the Dropbox app installed, you should be able to reset your desktop folders back to their original locations, by following these steps:
1) Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
2) Click your profile picture or initials.
3) Click 'Preferences'.
4) Click the 'Accounts' tab.
5) Press the Option key and at the same time click the 'Reset OS folders locations' button.Let me know how it goes!
