PDF files aren't scrolling normally

Hello. I have an issue with scrolling PDF files in the mobile app (iOS). Scrolling doesn’t work smooth, so I have to wait for a document page to upload. I've uploaded the video [Removed as per Community Guidelines] with scrolling a small PDF file (<1 MB), scrolling in horizontal orientation is much worse than vertical, although vertical isn't perfect too. Is it possible to fix this bug if this isn't normal scrolling animation and performance?

Hi @flandrese, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you let us know what version of iOS you're running, and the version of the mobile app?

This will help me to assist further!

Jay Hello, thanks for the response! Current iOS version is 15.7.1 (iPhone XR) and application — 346.2.2.

Jay Hello. I use Basic Plan with only one connected device — iPhone. I've deleted, rebooted and reinstalled the Dropbox app, but the problem is still here.

Could you try marking the file as offline and then try scrolling again?

Jay Hello again. I've already tried to use the offline file, but the problem with scrolling remains. I think that its cause is the PDF viewer implemented in the DropBox application because the default iOS PDF viewer in Files works correctly and without any delay. I'm looking forward to your answer.

Hey flandrese , thanks for the additional info.

I just tested this on my end, and it worked perfectly for me, even with larger PDFs, with lots of pages.

Can you tap on 'account', then on the gear icon and then on 'clear cache', to see if that helps?

Hannah I've already cleared the cache before, but the problem still remains. I think that it's really hard to find out why it occurs on my device, maybe it has some performance problems or something like that, so I could close this discussion.

Hey flandrese   - sorry to jump in here, but could you try updating your device's OS to the latest version and let us know if the issue persists?

    Thanks so much!
