What does the brown box icon next to my files mean?

Super UserWell, based on my information, this does not appear to be a standard Dropbox icon. The brown icon might represent a special file type, which typically require specific software to open. Dropbox or your file viewer may flag these files differently because they are not standard image formats.
May I ask you have any photo editing software integrated with Dropbox, such as Adobe Lightroom or Nikon NX Studio? The brown icon might indicate that these files are linked to or processed by such software.
