All of my files no longer available
I have several folders in my account with many files that I uploaded to save. Today I wanted to retrieve a few of the files but found out that the folder is completely empty. I never deleted any single file and purchased plenty of space for all of them. I need to recover those files. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi ercortes, if the files aren't visible in the events page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case:
- The files are on another Dropbox account
- They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more
- The files were deleted outside of the 30 day period
- The files were permanently deleted
Are you certain the files aren't on another account, or in a shared folder you no longer have access to?

Hi ercortes, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you able to recover the missing files from the deleted files page?
Does the events page give any info on the deletion?
This will help me to assist further.

Answering your questions, 1) There is nothing in the delete folder. I extended the range from 7/1/22 to today, and it still shows as empty. 2) The events page only shows files that I have been adding recently. Nothing showing deletions or anything like it. Please note that the same problem happens in several of the folders that I created to save important files. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
