Dropbox application not syncing with macOS Sequoia (mac mini pro)
Since chaning to a mac mini pro, dropbox has stopped syncing with the new device. Some files started to sync, but now after a couple of months most folders are unsynced and files unavailable locally unless I use the web interface.
Sequoia 15.3 build 24D60
Dropbox Version 216.4.4420 (216.4.4420)
The app states 'You don't have any sync issues' yet it also shows 104,333 files yet to sync

My Dropbox has been trying to sync for over two weeks with no movement. I do have 2.07 GB on disk (1,584 items). This appears to be the problem but what can I do to clean it up and sync smaller amounts?

Thanks for the answer. to date:
Hovering on icon shows 'Downloading 104,337 files'
I have restarted dropbox app. No change
I have reinstalled dropbox app, but again, no change
And yes, computer has been rebooted quite a number of times, this has been ongoing a number of months. Computer is also connected to the internet via a 1GB connection so it isn't a problem of a large file blocking this on a slow connection

Thanks for the additional info, hdouglas, and sorry for jumping in.
If I get this right, the desktop app seems to be completely stuck and it won’t sync anything to your web account, even if you add a very small file to your local Dropbox folder, correct?
Can you right-click on your local Dropbox folder for me, go to “Get info” and send me a screenshot of the window you’ll see next? I'd like to double check the current number of files that it contains, in case it exceeds the 300k soft limit.

Hi there, hdouglas, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If you were to hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, would the sync status show that the app is stuck on a specific number of files and not progressing at all?
Have you restarted the Dropbox app and your computer ever since this started happening?
If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the app (without uninstalling) and let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
