Can't add any more files to a shared folder as my quota is full, why?
I have a free account - somehow it claims I have more than 3 GB of files.
Another user has shared a folder of theirs. They have a pro plan with 2 TB of space.

Shared folders do take up quota on all accounts of active members.
You can try these steps to help collaborate with the other user without using up your quota.

thanks for this - I did not read this ANYWHERE so far.
And to me it does not makes sense. If someone has some video files on there 5 TB account and wants to share it with me who only has a 2 GB free account,
where is the sense in that?
Please help me!!!!!!!
I need to upload more video files onto someone else's account for them!
Why does it work this way?
Should I totally delete my account and then Share the other account?
It would NOT make sense for that person to share their sign-in credentials

You can use the steps suggested in the second link I posted earlier in order to have them share links to those files, so you can download them, and they can create a file request link for you to upload files onto their account.

I am actually working for them and sending the large video files back to them for approval.
