Syncing Off-line to additional laptop
Apologies if I am not using the right terminology. I cannot figure out how to put a shared file on the local drive of an additional laptop.
All my documents are maintained in a shared file through my company’s dropbox account. I am not the administrator on my company’s account. Last year, the administrator sent me a link. My shared file was put on the local drive of laptop number one and synced to my company’s dropbox account. Everything worked well.
Now I want to do the same thing for laptop number two -but the same shared file on the local drive.
How do I accomplish this? Do I need the administrator to give me an additional permission or to send a new link?

Could you clarify what you mean by a 'shared file'? Is this a file that appears on this page on your account, is it a shared link to a file, or are you referring to a shared folder?
Also, on laptop 2, do you have the Dropbox desktop application installed on that machine?
