Can I log in to another account from the Dropbox app?
I have two Dropbox accounts (just individual, not team). I logged into one account with the Dropbox installer and synced some files. Now, I want to log into the other account on the Dropbox installer. What should I do?

To log into another Dropbox account on the Dropbox app, you’ll need to sign out of the current account and then log in with the credentials of the other account. Unfortunately, Dropbox’s desktop app only allows you to be logged into one account at a time. Here’s what you can do:
- Open the Dropbox app on your computer.
- Go to the app’s settings or preferences.
- Click on "Sign out" to log out of the current account.
- Once signed out, open the Dropbox app again and log in using the credentials for the second account.
Alternatively, you can use Dropbox’s web interface to manage both accounts simultaneously or consider using a third-party tool to manage multiple Dropbox accounts.
If you’re looking for a more seamless experience for managing multiple accounts and syncing files across different platforms, you may want to consult with a web designer Dubai who can help optimize your workflow or set up a custom solution.

Hello Siwei Wang
Yes, you can log in to another account-
Open the Dropbox app >Tap the account icon (person) in the bottom right> Choose Up and down arrows to the right of your name and email address> Select the account you'd like to switch >Now log in to your linked account with your credentials

Hi Siwei Wang, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just to clarify, are you trying to have two Dropbox accounts syncing on the same machine and the same time in two different Dropbox folders, or are you looking to sign out of one account and into another?
This will help me to assist further!

To switch between two individual Dropbox accounts on the same computer, you’ll need to sign out of the current account in the Dropbox app and then log in with your other account. Here’s how you can do it:
- Sign Out: Open the Dropbox desktop app, go to Preferences (usually found by clicking your profile icon), then navigate to the Account tab. From there, click Sign out to disconnect the current account.
- Sign In to the Other Account: After signing out, open the Dropbox installer or desktop app again, and this time log in with your other Dropbox account credentials.
Currently, Dropbox does not support two simultaneous individual accounts on one desktop app. However, if switching frequently, you could consider using one account through the desktop app and the other through Dropbox’s web interface. Alternatively, Dropbox Plus, Professional, and Business plans support a connected personal account, allowing you to link both within the same app.
Hope this helps!
