Dropbox app is stuck on "starting" endlessly.

Hello,

since Weeks i have the same Problem on my Windows Desktop App. Dropbox ist starting after reboot but it loads endlessly.... nothing happend

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried...

  • Deaktivate Antivirus completley
  • Reboot several Times
  • Reinstall the App 6 times..
  • Remove all devices in Account

but nothing changed... i always have the same bug

maybee you have a solution for me...

    Hey DB187, let's jump right into this! 

    Could it be that there are more than 300K files in the Dropbox folder? Could you check its properties, and let me know? 

    Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

      no there are never more then 300k files in my Dropbox account... not more then 100...

      Hey DB187 - thanks for the nudge on this. 

      I can see you're in direct communication with an expert from the team on your ticket so I'd suggest waiting for their update there. They'll be better equipped to help you further with account and device specific information, which is needed at this point.
